About the G.R.A.M.C.

The Grand Rapids Amateur Movie Club consisted of a group of film buffs during a period from the late 1930s until the 1970s. My grandfather, Richard (“Dick”) Baty participated in the production of many of the films and acted as the club’s librarian for a number of years.

After he passed away I took possession of what remained of the film library. I am in the process of scanning the original 8mm, Super8, and 16mm format films.
